Code 128 Explained. Code 128 was developed by Computer Identics in 1981 and has become very popular over the years. This barcode symbology is widely used for warehouse management, in the transport industry (e.g. UPS) and in retail as Code 128 EAN / UCC (This variation is now known as 128. China mac yin and yang. Code 128 Specification CODE 128 allows the full ASCII 128 character set to be encoded. Symbol than would be possible using the older binary (Two bar/space widths).
Code 128
Code 128 is one of the most popular modern barcodes. It is a very high density barcode supporting alphanumeric characters. This barcode is used as the basis for many other barcodes like UCC/EAN, HIBC(Health Industry Barcode) and the Blood Bank Industry barcode.
Other than being high density, this barcode supports the ASCII character set. And is thus increasingly adopted in many different applications. This barcode has 106 unique representations and supports the Full ASCII by using a multiple character set mechanism.

ConnectCode Code 128 Font
ConnectCode Code 128 (Auto/A/B/C) barcode font support up to seven different heights. These barcodes with seven different heights are provided in seven fonts with different names. The barcode names are appended with characters like 'S1' or 'S2' etc.. with each one of them representing a different height. The list below illustrates the seven different fonts that is supplied for Code128.
